09/2015 – present          SEGA Interactive Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan

  • Worked closely with animators and game developers to construct the rigging and animation pipeline in Maya.

  • Translated the articles about the latest CG technologies from English to Japanese to bring fresh ideas into the studio

  • Developed the module based animator friendly rigging tools which can be customized based on the type of project, model and pipeline.

  • Systematically documenting the tools and technologies on the studio's confluence server.

  • Solved various technical problems with other artists during the game productions.

03/2016 – present          GUNCY’S, Tokyo, Japan

  • Built a scalable infrastructure using EC2 from Amazon Web Services

  • Integrating Perforce source control system to the existing pipeline to ensure data integrity throughout the production pipeline

  • Installing Shotgun Pipeline Toolkit with Perforce Integration and testing the latest technologies while corresponding with the Shotgun team.

  • Remote technical support for the animators and other artists.

 

01/2015 – 07/2015         Oculus Story Studio, San Francisco, California

  • Rigged “Henry”, the first original VR hedgehog character created by the Pixar veterans.

  • Set up dynamic rig that can runs real-time for the props in Henry short film.

  • Worked closely with the animation team and helped solve the animation related technical difficulties.

  • Programmed the tools with user friendly GUI’s to automate the tedious tasks.

 

05/2014 – 02/2015         Polygon Entertainment, San Rafael, California

  • Worked with various artists for the two visual effect short film projects rendered in dome  (Arabian Nights and Dragon Age).

  • Constructed and maintained a fully functional VFX production pipeline.

  • Studied Animation & Visual Effects with rigging focus, while working on Wishing Box and Aria for a Cow.
